Auctions

The Curated Hammer is an initiative that was born with the intention of reducing the gap that separates the curatorial realm of the market within the art world.
Auction strategy
I define the auction format and the types of bids that will be accepted.
I manage which payment methods will be accepted as well as payment terms and consequences in case of non-compliance.
I determine the model of commissions and fees.
I define the terms and conditions for both artists and buyers.

Artist selection and curatorial development
I identify and select emerging and contemporary artists whose works have a high potential for market impact.
I develop a unique curatorial concept for each auction, connecting the selected works with a cohesive and meaningful narrative that attracts collectors and creates added value.

Digital catalogue
I design a professional catalogue that combines an attractive visual presentation for collectors with detailed descriptions of the works, information about the artists and a complete guide for participants. It is accompanied by curatorial text.

Exhibition set-up
I organize a pre-show together with the gallery or person I am collaborating with that presents the works in a physical or virtual context, allowing potential buyers to experience each piece and its narrative before the event.

Hammering
I conduct the auction with professionalism and dynamism, ensuring a smooth, exciting and transparent process for all participants.

Post-auction process
I oversee payment management, delivery logistics for both acquired and unsold works, and closing deals, ensuring a flawless experience for artists, galleries, and collectors.
