Is the artist born or constructed? - Online course and workshop.
In the art world, the perception of success is often associated with the idea of innate talent, an almost mystical quality that distinguishes some artists from others. However, the reality is much more complex: the construction of a successful artist is a continuous process, where talent is just one more component, and not necessarily the most determining. Success in art is the result of a combination of dedication, strategy, networks and personal development, showing that talent is, to a large extent, a construction that is cultivated and perfected over time.
This is why we have developed an online course-workshop for artists who wish to have a deeper understanding of the world in which they move. The art world is often complex and it is necessary to know its dynamics in order to grow professionally.
In this course-workshop you will learn the basic elements of the art system - and the art market - so that you can move more confidently in this world.
In the workshop section, I will support you in the process of writing your portfolio so that you do not lack any component when presenting it to exhibitions, calls or potential buyers.
You will also learn more about the role of an art curator and how it can help you in building your career.
Who is it for?
It is designed for emerging artists who wish to take the next step in their professional career.
If you are an artist who does not know how the dynamics of the art system work in order to exhibit or participate in calls for proposals, this course is for you.
If you are exclusively dedicated to producing, but want to expand your knowledge of the art world, sign up.
